SCHOLARSHIPS
Stamford Performing Arts Center
has donated over
$20,000 in scholarships since they opened their doors in 2005.!!
WE BELIEVE IN THE FUTURE
OF OUR YOUTH AS WE KNOW THEY ARE OUR LEADERS OF TOMORROW
SPAC Scholarship Dancers Show
Their Stuff!!
In December of 2008 SPAC was asked by Leah Kimmet, Executive Director of the
Horizon's Enrichment Program to choreograph a piece for the
Horizon's Bi-Annual Fundraiser that was held on February 27,
2009 at the Greenwich Hyatt. SPAC created a work using
all the Horizon's Scholarship dancers. The piece covered
different genres such as Ballet, Contemporary and Hip Hop. The
Dancers were a huge hit!!!!

Out of the numerous scholarship
applicants, SPAC donated 5 scholarships (Full and Partial) to our own
student body!
SPAC
donated 3 full year scholarships to Horizons participants!
SPAC is proud to be
partners with the Horizons Enrichment Program for the past 3
years. Horizon's is
a nonprofit
organization offering summer and winter
programs in art and education for children living
in Fairfield County.
Horizons
went well beyond matching the SPAC scholarships and
sponsored 11 of
their own students
for a full year scholarship for one class!!

On September 9, 2007 SPAC
hosted the first annual scholarship lunch presentation.
Leah Kimmet of Horizons, along with SPAC Owners, presented
scholarships to 22 well-deserving recipients.
